April Books

hi I’m Tati and these are the books I read in April
I read some pretty great books this month so let’s get right into it first
up I read as kismet would have it by Sandhya Menon this is in a novella
sequel to when dimple met Rishi I’m not gonna go into too many details about it
because it is a sequel I will say that it was pretty short but I really enjoyed
it and I gave it 4 out of 5 stars next up I read Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys
the big lie this comic is a twisting noir take on the original Nancy Drew and
the Hardy Boys this was darker than the original stories which was the point of
it and I do think that I usually like darker mysteries however in this context
I didn’t like it that much which is why I gave this one a 3 out of 5 stars
next up was Fame fate and the first kiss by Kasie West this is a why a contemporary
starring Lacey who is struggling to juggle her acting career on set sabotage
and an off-screen romance and also her senior year of high school this was a
pretty quick cute fun read with a surprising amount of suspense thrown in
based on what I read in this I actually think I would really like a mystery book
by Kasie West anyway I gave this one 4 out of 5 stars next up I finally finished
Emma by Jane Austen this is a classic Austen novel about Emma who organizes
the lives of inhabitants of her sleepy little village and plays matchmaker with
devastating effects and now that I’ve finally finished this book I can say
that I actually really liked it I have tried reading Emma before in the past
and I’ve never been able to get all the way through it until this past month
I listened to it as an audiobook I ended up giving it three out of five
stars next up I read once upon a dream by Liz brasswell this is the second
book in the twisted tale series which is a series in which each book takes a
Disney classic and puts a spin on it in this one
it’s that sleeping beauty doesn’t wake up i actually found the turn that this
book took really interesting and i don’t want to get into spoilers because there
are a lot of twists in the book and i don’t want to spoil any of them but i do
plan to have a separate review video coming out soon i wanted to do a series
of review videos for this series of books and i’m still planning to do that
it’s just gonna be later on then I thought it was originally gonna be
anyway I gave this one three stars and finally the last book I read in April
was a question of Holmes by Britney Cavallaro this is the fourth and final
book as far as I know in the Charlotte Holmes series and because this is the last
book I really can’t get into any details because spoilers but I will say that I
enjoyed it and I gave it four stars and that was everything that I read in April
let me know in the comments what your favorite read of April was if you liked
this video please give it a like I have new videos every Tuesday and Friday so
subscribe if you want to see more thanks for watching bye that is gonna do
because I don’t have time to do any more hi hello let’s get filming this comic is
a twisting oh I messed it up that looks so weird if
I do that why they’re missing their heads and I always feel the need to like
put my head here and it looks so creepy 🎶

    awww yes i love Emma:)
    great wrap up!!

  2. I'm planning to read There's Something About Sweetie so I should probably check out that novella!
I LOVE your top and earrings!

  3. I haven’t watched all of your videos yet because I just found out about you but please read lost boy by Christina Henry because i think it is just great and one of my favorites

  4. Nice video! 🤗 my favorite book for the month of April was probably Me Before You – that book broke me emotionally but it was really good!

  5. I always find that audiobooks help a lot with getting through classics. The older writing style is just often too dense to get through otherwise.
