Hi I’m Kristy Kennedy, Director of Tourism for the Adirondack Coast, and today I’m standing in the War of 1812 Museum that’s operated by the Battle of Plattsburgh Association. If you’re a history buff, this is the place to be. You will learn all about the War of 1812, and with a specific focus on the battles of Plattsburgh. Not only just on Lake Champlain, but also on land. Here you can find exhibits, art galleries, they have a theater showing a great documentary about the history of our region. So if you’re interested in the War of 1812, and how it shaped our region and more specifically the Battle of Plattsburgh, this is definitely a great place to experience.
